The gold mood ring “Physical NFT” is paired with the ring, as a physical asset, and will be stored in a vault (for safe keeping). The owner can either hold or trade the NFT Token, or take possession of the ring, in which case the Token is not tradeable until the ring is returned to the vault. A “utility”, fully functional reproduction of the original (in Vermeil rather than solid gold) will be sent to the owner. The Original Gold NFT is uniquely certified with the Mattereum “smart contract” containing warranties, insurance and legal enforceability. This “triple certification” of authenticity, provenance with warranties helps build trust in trade and potentially enhance the value and marketability of the NFT.
